school's winding down to the last 2 weeks for me, and the workload is naturally at an all time high. making priority lists seem to become a hobby nowadays and it's unfortunate that the to-do's never go as planned.. but i know it'll all get done. it has to. :)
my schedule for next year is already set, filled with a hefty amount of courses equaling 18.5 credits. I'm sure many people have more, but it's definitely more than the 13.5 i'm taking now. hahah. it'll also be a new dynamic, with a new group of people as most of the old faces i've grown accustomed to are either pursuing new things, or have chose the other block. i'm always excited for change though, and i'm sure it'll be a fresh start.
by the end of may, i'll have my associates degree in accessories design.. and moving towards the bachelor's next semester while pursuing a double minor in art history and english. UHH why you ask, i don't know. it may be that i want to prove that my work in highschool wasn't for nothing. it's also because i CAN. i'm only a couple courses away from doing so, and my liberals will eventually cater to those anyway. (i'm also considering a minor in italian depending on how my classes go, but then the minors just sound bogus.. imo)
anywho, lately i feel like i've missed out on a lot of what life has to offer.. or maybe that i've missed a lot of opportunities and experiences that most people would have had by now. 2010 still seems like a great year to accomplish them, and i'm totally excited to do so.
this summer's set with a new internship within a new corporate environment, and a mini vacation that should include some life lessons.. hahah.
the other day, my friend and i were listening and learning about one of our professor's life story. i think she lives alone with a cat? and doesn't have the time to converse with people..so that night was a pleasant time for all of us. she's a super interesting person, and she had a pretty impacting message to share with us.
her mom had died a couple years back, and she was saying how fortuante it was for us to still have our moms. she also suggested that we really talk to them about their lives, how they felt during milestones and through tough times, because it's really special how much one shares with their mom.. whether it be personality, reaction to things, etc.
it really got me thinking, because in my family, we never really share much about my parents' past unless something directly relates to it. so over lunch other day, i asked my mom about her life before marriage, and all that. it was really amusing. i suggest you ask your mom about her relationships and such prior to marriage! hahaha
anywho, hope you all have a lovely mother's day with your moms!

Meanwhile, it's also Taiwanese Heritage Month! I'm working on a new exposure for screenprinting that'll go along the theme of how my heart lies between new york and taiwan. how fitting. haha
anywho hope you're all doing well, good luck with finals, and here's to wishing for a super and relaxing summer!
Oh my, justifying reasons why
Is an absolutely insane resolution to live by
Just take it easy
And celebrate the malleable reality
Nothing is ever as it seems
This life is but a dream
